About me

This is my 20th year as a Special Educator in PISD. My passions include everything related to Social Skills and Executive Functions, with a splash of Behavior Intervention/Support! I also am a Google for Education Certified Trainer.

As an avid reader, my favorite topic to research is EVERYTHING brain!

My first deep dive into executive functions was Smart but Scattered by Peg Dawson and Richard Guare. In fact, a coworker commented on my book, "Oh! That sounds just like you!" Countless books and hours of hyperfocus later, executive functions are still one of my favorite topics.
